Cisco Support Wiki Ready for January 2008 Launch

The Cisco Support Wiki received approval for proceeding with a January 2008 launch. The pilot program, which began in June of 2007, was built in a little over 6 months and will contain nearly 16,000 articles when it becomes publicly available next month. Julie Larsen, Senior Director for Technical Services, tasked Cisco Support Wiki architect Craig Tobias with providing Cisco customers, partners and employees a scalable platform to collaborate in real time and find up-to-the-minute information on Cisco products, services and solutions. The team is deploying a robust platform that will leverage customer and partner contributions as a method for scalability and timeliness and help Cisco build greater customer intimacy, community and interactive technical support.
