TS Web Initiates Cisco Support Wiki Pilot Program

Cisco Technical Services (TS) is responsible for providing direct customer support to all Cisco customers with a support contract. TS Web’s role is to identify ways to provide answers to customers in an effort to reduce the number of Service Requests (SRs) those customers may need. As part of the TS Strategic Initiative Portfolio and the Knowledge Architecture initiative, TS Web is deploying Web 2.0 technologies to provide better customer support documentation. An externally facing wiki pilot, Cisco Support Wiki, will be built and deployed to test and understand whether knowledge capture activities in which customers are participants will be an effective support model for TS.
