Title How to configure an IOS based AP to broadcast SSID for 802.11b and 802.11g radio through GUI
Resolution

You can broadcast the service set identifiers (SSIDs) on the access point (AP), which can be configured from the graphical user interface (GUI). Complete these steps:

  1. In the GUI, choose Security, and choose SSID Manager.

  2. Search for the option Set Single Guest Mode, then highlight the SSID that you want to broadcast.

Note: If you do not have virtual LANs (VLANs), you have only one SSID.

Refer to the Configuring SSIDs section of Cisco IOS Software Configuration Guide for Cisco Aironet Access Points, Cisco IOS Release 12.3(8)JA for more information about SSIDs.
