Core issue The Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Event Viewer (IEV) can be connected to three or five devices, depending on the version. The error message is displayed when a user attempts to configure more than the allowed number of devices.
Resolution If adding a new device, delete one of the existing devices, and add a new device.
